CPP – Conveyor-Push-Pull Unit
When to use
- When the Freeze Dryer is located in a cleanroom and the loading/unloading device needs to be moved in and out of the cleanroom
- Small quantities of Freeze Dryers to load and unload (1-3)
- Can be integrated in oRABS, cRABS or Isolator
- In oRABS optional ability to pull away from Freeze Dryer if maintenance door is in cleanroom.
CPP – loading
- Similar to the process on the loading/unloading table the CPP builds vial rows and pushes them to the buffer plate and swivel table.
- The swivel table is docked to the FD shelf and, with every row that is pushed forward the rows gradually reach the FD shelf.
- When the preset number of rows has been reached, the whole package is pushed entirely on to the FD shelf.
- Sequence is repeated until all shelves in FD have been loaded.
CPP – unloading
- For the unloading the unloading device is needed. It enters the FD chamber and, on reaching the back position, the unload bar is flipped to the down position.
- Vial package is pulled out of the FD in step sequences forwarding vials to the conveyor.
- The conveyor forwards the vials to a singling unit to single multiple rows back to a single row.
