TC – Transfer Cart Unit

When to use

  • More than one Freeze Dryer
  • When no stationary conveyors or frames are wanted in front of the FD`s
  • When future expansion with FD`s is planned
  • Freeze Dryer can be accessed easily when TC is in “Park“ position
  • Full shelf loading
  • Sub door can be closed when TC gets new shelf batch from loading table
  • Loading on loading table is continuous

TC – Transfer Cart LOADING

  • When TC is positioned in front of the loading/unloading table, the TC table moves toward the loading/unloading table and docks to it.
  • Vials are then pushed to TC table, TC table retrieves from loading/unloading table.
  • The TC then moves to the freeze dryer that is to be loaded and positions in front of the FD.
  • Sub door of FD is opened and TC table moves toward the FD shelf and docks to it.
  • Small visor pushes the vial package on to the freeze dryer shelf.
  • TC table retrieves from FD, sub door can be closed.
  • Sequence repeats until all shelves in FD are loaded.

TC – Transfer Cart UNLOADING

  • When the product is ready to be unloaded from the FD, the TC positions in front of the FD, sub door opens and the table moves toward FD shelf and docks to it.
  • The long visor enters the FD chamber above the vials and on reaching the back position, it is lowered.
  • The vial package is pulled on to the TC table. Table retrieves from FD.
  • TC moves to the loading/unloading table and positions, TC table docks to loading/unloading table.
  • Entire vial package is forwarded to the loading/unloading table with use of the short visor.
